DoubleMap Bus Tracker App Reviews

I use this app for the "CityBus of Lafayette" routes but it hardly works anymore. I am currently on bus typing this from my phone but the app says "no buses running" when I select the route that Im on. Please fix this.

The people saying it crashes may want to check their devices or network; Im using it on my iPhone in Laf, IN and it works great for me! No more freezing der heinie off waiting on a late-running bus!! Best thing since sliced bread and nudie bars!!

I love this app, and I use it everyday so I dont stand outside and wait for a bus and not know when its coming. The downside is that it completely kills my battery life. Ill run the app at 80%, and immediately itll drop the battery down to about 70%. If I forget to shut down the app from running in the background itll drain my battery from 80% to completely dead in 10 minutes.

I use the Doublemap app a lot around my campus. Its especially useful when its raining or cold outside, I can wait inside until the bus is almost at my stop! The latest update adds a lot of speed, keep up the good work!

Dont need to wait at bus station for a long long time anymore!

Ive tried everything and this app hasnt worked for any of the UCSD busses for nearly 2 weeks! Keeps making me late for classes!

Use it to track my vehicle on a daily basis.

Ive missed my bus several times because of this app. When it says the bus is 3-4 min away, you can almost always guarantee that it has already passed the stop. I made the mistake of thinking I could rely on this app. I was standing at the stop and it kept saying the bus was 1-2 min away but it never came! I closed out of the app and reopened and miraculously, the bus was suddenly 31-32 min away! Not ok when I have to be somewhere and Im waiting in my car because of inclement weather trusting that this app is going to tell me accurate information. Im about ready to delete it from my phone and just go back to waiting at the stop in the cold.

So happy that I can depend on this to get to class. This is often the first thing I will do when I wake up to ensure I have time in the morning, or if I need to run straight for the bus.

Double maps is great. I wait less time at the bus stop because of this.

I like this app and would give it five stars from me if it wouldn’t take 5 minutes or more every time i open the app to load the bus route and populate the busses. (while still being in reach of a strong wi-fi connection or being on full or 4 of 5 bars 3g)

This app is awesome! Sometimes the expected times are off but the gps is always right so if you have any sense you can tell how long itll take anyways. Would give 5 but lately it hasnt been working at all. Get it together

Its cool to see the bus route live, but the bus will get there when it gets there! The only good thing is that you know youre getting on the right bus for your destination but after a couple of days you remember the bus to get on and the app becomes useless again

I did like this app until it started crashing. Now Im at the bus stop without a clue when the next bus is coming. Very disappointed

It is helpful for my campus, but the app force quits for some reason. Not allowing me to use the app.

Cuts off not even five seconds after you open it. Takes forever for the map to load. Not even worth to keep on your phone

Would be great if it always showed up instead of having to watch outside for when it comes
