DoubleMap Bus Tracker app for iPhone and iPad

I am so glad this app was created. It saves a lot of questions and a lot of the hassle of catching the city bus it out the way! Love it

There was a time when we would just sit at the bus stop and not know how long it would be before they arrived. I rely on this app to tell me how much time before the next bus arrives. Of course, since its recent, there are a few glitches but Im sure theyll get straightened out!

This is great. Now I know when to leave my house and still catch the bus without standing in the rain, snow, and cold for too long.

This app is a huge help for catching buses. I no longer have to wait in anticipation for a bus that may or may not arrive. My only critique is that it used to display bus times by simply selecting a bus stop without having to leave the map. I prefer that over the new process of having to exit from the map in order to view bus arrival times. Great app either way though.

Very helpful for first time at Purdue! Should add some notifications for how long the wait will be for a certain bus though!

One of the recent updates made this app much more reliable, and its a beautiful thing.

Every time I open the app it has deleted my favorite stops. And I wish the ETA would update automatically instead of having to close out of the app and reopen it. Or go to a different screen inside the app and revisit the ETA screen to have t refresh.

Ok... It works. Theres something positive. The negative is that after a certain time the buses stop showing up on the map. I know theyre still active because our shuttles dont stop until 10pm but after 6pm it doesnt show where the bus on the gray/pink link is. You could be waiting outside for 30+ minutes in freezing weather unsure if the shuttle will even arrive. The developers seriously need to update this. People depend on this app. Update: it still wont show where the buses are for the gray/pink line... Im removing a star.

Bus will be here in 0-1 minute. Suddenly, bus will be here in 12-14 minutes. THEN it changes to 23-25 minutes. Eventually the bus appears at my stop without warning. I run to catch it, only to watch it drive away. I was already extremely late. This crap didnt happen before this update.

The app is very basic in its design, which is both useful and disappointing. I wish the app was more aesthetic and had ETA functions. It would be ideal if the app could alert students to a nearby bus.

Im not particularly fond of the way the app is laid out, as Ive grown accustomed to the layout of the previous version. I dont like how the ETAs now have their own window for viewing. The app still works okay, but I dont particularly like the new design.

The new version of Double Map is much-less-good than the original. First, you used to be able to see the list of buses headed to your stop at the bottom of the map. I.e., you didnt have to click on your bus and go to a separate screen to see ETAs. Second, the separate screen of ETAs *DOES NOT REFRESH ITSELF*. Pulling down does not have any refresh effect like in most apps. You have to go back to the map page, reselect your stop, reselect your bus, and return to the separate ETA page. PLEASE MAKE THE OLD VERSION DOWNLOADABLE AGAIN!! (Thankfully I havent upgraded it on my iPad, but I dont always carry my iPad.) Or, make the next upgrade as easy to use as the old version. New version is way too clunky--jumping around between multiple screens is a step backward, not forward.
