DoubleMap Bus Tracker App Reviews

Very convenient app for students living off campus.

The new version of Double Map is much-less-good than the original. First, you used to be able to see the list of buses headed to your stop at the bottom of the map. I.e., you didnt have to click on your bus and go to a separate screen to see ETAs. Second, the separate screen of ETAs *DOES NOT REFRESH ITSELF*. Pulling down does not have any refresh effect like in most apps. You have to go back to the map page, reselect your stop, reselect your bus, and return to the separate ETA page. PLEASE MAKE THE OLD VERSION DOWNLOADABLE AGAIN!! (Thankfully I havent upgraded it on my iPad, but I dont always carry my iPad.) Or, make the next upgrade as easy to use as the old version. New version is way too clunky--jumping around between multiple screens is a step backward, not forward.

Its better then the rest. All the other bus apps are really inaccurate.

This apps refresh is really slow. Never trust it

Good app- usually accurate estimates of bus arrivals, and I love how they improved the graphics in the most recent version. The little bus icons are so cute!

I love being able to see exactly where my bus is. The one improvement I can suggest would be to have the direction of the bus approaching when the time to reaching that selected stop is queried. Ive stood at a stop, expecting a bus, only to have it pass by the stop going the other direction.

Great to know where the bus is along its route so you are not waiting to long.

This app has improved greatly from a year ago. It was almost unusable at times but now it runs much smoother. My one comment is that I would strongly recommend that an Apple Watch app was made! Please! This would be very convenient and save much time on my way to class

slowest app on my phone. something went wrong while programming it, needs about 60sec to start!

This update made the app work way smoother

This app used to work fairly well - occasional hiccups but it was a lifesaver. However, since the latest update, I can no longer use it. It crashes a couple seconds after I open it. Every single time. FIX THIS!

Fix it!!! It keeps closing out after 5 seconds of trying to load ._.

Now its always saying "no buses running" instead of showing where the buses are. I know theyre running because I am on a bus writing this.

This app is great in theory but it crashes and crashes and crashes...I cant even navigate through different routes. FIX THE CRASHING.

This would be the most amazing app to save time and keep a better schedule, except it crashes all the time... not a hyperbole, it will not work. Launches then fails. Its a shame really as there is no workable alternative.

Since 2014 it crashed all the time!!! This latest version worked the worst!

In theory, this app could be so useful. However the reality is that it constantly crashes, rendering it completely unusable. Please fix this!

Poor app!

The app crashes frequently. Not ready for prime time. Northwestern University users should use the other tracking system.

Despite a few small flaws where sometimes a bus isnt tracked, this is the best bus app I have ever used! You can literally watch the bus approach via GPS! I love this and how accurate it is! Huge time saver for me!
